- No load index, speed rating or spare tyre size is listed. Read them from your current tyres or the door label.
- The 16-inch and 19-inch sizes are very different tyres. Moving between them means changing wheels as well, so check with a dealer first.
What the numbers mean
Sidewall height is the width multiplied by the profile percentage. Overall diameter is the wheel size (inches × 25.4) plus two sidewalls. Worked out from the size alone, so treat the results as approximate.

Can I fit 16-inch tyres to an Altima that came on 19s?
Only with 16-inch wheels that suit the car, and brake clearance and load rating also matter. Ask a Nissan dealer or qualified fitter before changing wheel size.
Why are 19-inch Altima tyres more expensive?
Lower-profile tyres for bigger wheels are generally a smaller-volume, higher-performance product. We have not yet captured dated UAE prices for 235/40 R19.
