About UAE Tyre
Independent guide. Not affiliated with any government authority, tyre brand or retailer. We don't sell tyres. UAE Tyre is an independent information website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the RTA, any police force, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (formerly ESMA), any carmaker, tyre brand, retailer or fitter. We don't sell tyres, take bookings or pass on leads.
Why this site exists
Almost every page that ranks for tyre questions in the UAE is written by a business that sells tyres. Many of them disagree with each other on basic rules, such as how old a tyre can be, and few cite a source. Official statements are accurate but scattered across press releases and news reports going back to 2012.
We pull the rules together in one place, say where each one comes from and when, and separate what is documented from what is repeated.
How we work
- Every rule, size and price carries the date we checked it and a link to the source.
- We prefer official statements (RTA, police, federal standards) and manufacturer or authorised-dealer data, then established news outlets.
- Prices are dated snapshots of published retailer prices, labelled as such. We never call a seller "the cheapest" or "the best".
- Where we can't find a source, we say "not yet verified" or "unconfirmed" rather than guess.

Money
The site is self-funded. It carries no advertising and no affiliate links. If that ever changes, we will say so on the same page, next to the link.
